Hello!
I recently moved, and just set up my Wii. In my old place, it worked just fine, so I put everything back together, found the SSID of my new network, put in the key, test the internet connection, and everything is a go!
Then I try to do something. That's when problems arise. At first, I was trying to load Netflix, had problems with that, and one of the solutions was to delete the Netflix program off my main menu and reinstall, so I did that. Problem was trying to connect to the Wii Shop. It would think for a long time, then give me a 209600 error.
I've reset the internet connection several times, fiddled with the router settings, disabled my routers firewall, all with no progress to show for it.
On a side note, I set up my PS3 with a wired connection, and it's good to go, no problems at all.
It's perplexing though, having it test the internet connection and saying it's good, then not being able to use it at all.
Any helpful suggestions appreciated...
